Friday Night in

Well that was a very civilised Friday night in, my brothers dropped over, we watched the match (finally a win for rovers) we shared a few beers, we got Indian food in, we waffled a lot and we watched the Blur documentary - no distance to run

but the beers I hear you cry... well....

One that was stuck in draft for 18 months!! Oops The Irish craft beer (and cider...icky) festival was held last weekend at the RDS. Greatest observation for me was that there were 40 odd all Irish stands. Dwarfing anything of recent times attended by any johny foreigner blow ins  ☺ Meeting friends. Some live music. Innis & Gunn

Took a short break to Edinburgh recently,  the castle, some meals out. A bit of culture. There are some 2010/11 posts down below of Innis & Gunn I had always enjoyed. However these are next impossible to find nowadays in Dublin. So on this trip a visit to the taphouse was a requirement It's still lovely stuff and even better on tap.
