Guinness Storehouse

 If you grow up in Dublin, the south city centre, liberties, area often smells of the roasting of barley at the Guinness brewery. Its an infectious evocative smell of home. However...it also reminds me that I had only visited the storehouse on work events.

Changed that in January and brought my brothers and Dad to the "connoisseur" experience. And it was well worth the outlay.

Vip treatment, access to the secret bar, a 90 minute talk from an entertaining expert to a small group, practice pouring your own pint, after hours free reign to wander the museum and the free sky bar drink. A great day, I'll  not forget.
